TikTok new Family Safety Mode

TikTok has released Family Safety Mode which allows parents and carers to manage aspects of young people’s TikTok use. Parental controls include:

• Family Safety Mode – allows linking of your TikTok account to the young person’s so you can manage the following:
  • Screen time management – setting daily time limit
  • Restricted mode – which filters out inappropriate content and allows you to restrict who can send messages to the young person or turn off messaging altogether.
